Hows does this weight gain calculator work?

Using the Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, we calculate a rough daily calorie estimate by applying your BMI to your daily activity level. Once you consistently consume the daily required calories estimated, you will gain weight.

The best way to ensure you gain weight is to use the calculator estimate above.

After one week you will be able to measure your results, majority of the time it will be accurate, all though if you attempt to gain one kilogram and only gain half a kilogram, we recommend adding an extra 250 calories a day to the above estimate. This step is rarely required and is only due to you being more active than estimated.

Counting calories can be a hard task, it is often challenging and time consuming but it doesn't have to be, we recommend using phone applications to track your daily calories or noting them down in your phone.
